The Consorci de la Ribera is a public body created by an association of two counties placed in the Region of Valencia (County Ribera Alta and County of Ribera Baixa) which is made up of 47 municipalities. The aim of Consorci de la Ribera is to manage collaboration agreements with both counties in the field of tourism, environment and cultural heritage, energy, socioeconomic development, integration of immigrant people, maintenance of rivers and landscaping improvement.
The mission of the Meridaunia is to be a real “Development Agency” for the territory, with the overall function of supporting development and the creation of businesses and jobs. The institutional work of the Meridaunia essentially consists in drawing up and carrying out strategies for the development of the territory through the involvement of the greatest possible number of local socioeconomic actors (public and private) as well as the local community.
Since 2003, Momentum (MMS) have worked in developing progressive learning programmes and platforms for education with special focus on the tourism economy. A leading VET (Vocational Educational Training) provider in Ireland, MMS tourism development programmes have transformational impact on local communities and rural economies. With a strong network base across Ireland, MMS have excellent dissemination potential andthe ability to draw high profile attention to RuralTOUR.
New Edu, n.o. is a non-profit organization from Nitra region in Slovakia. Its employees have more than 20 years long experiences with tertiary, vocational and life-long learning education in agriculture. Experts of New Edu have applied experience from very active participation in entrepreneurship education and relevant networking. It offers vocational training solutions and services from the identification of training needs through the development model of education, technical design and content creation to the realization of the educational process or the training.
The staff of AGRITOUR has experience in the implementation of several EU projects, seminars, workshops, meetings, symposiums etc. They have experience with Programs for Rural development. Their partners are Local Action Groups, business associations, rural development groups, farmers associations, tourism association, entrepreneurs of rural tourism sector. AGRITOUR has organized activities, including VET, that contribute and lead to the development of the rural areas.
Aproximar is a non-profit organisation aiming to enhance organisations’ social and human capital as a strategy to build their capacity to sustainably take advantage of challenges and opportunities raised by the external conditions. In fulfilling its mission Aproximar organizes and manages personal, social and professional paths by means of tailor-made and social innovation projects and good practices transference and dissemination.
The European Association for Social Innovation is representing more than 30 organizations from 15 European countries. In general terms, EaSI aims the advancement of Social Innovation in Europe through the development of research and pilot projects, identification and dissemination of best practices, awarding grants and scholarships regarding the social Innovation practices, processes and systems developed in urban and rural areas, public services, third sector and private sector.
The Athens Lifelong Learning Institute is a research and education institute, based in Athens, Greece. It has the mission to foster and enhance innovation processes mainly in the areas of education and lifelong learning, human capital development, knowledge society and social inclusion. Woman and Young Entrepreneurship Centre Association is a non-profit organization founded on March 2008. Since 12 years, they are non-political organization working for empowering youth, human rights, entrepreneurship, agriculture, tourism, woman, democracy, promoting peace and integration among people with different backgrounds, through assisting them in acquiring knowledge about different traditions and cultures, developing their tolerance and acceptance.
